Judicial independence, as one of the key pillars of justice and effective governance, is recognized as essential in legal systems. Therefore, its impact on the legitimacy of governance is a significant and complex issue that examines the ethical and legal principles outlined in the Holy Quran. The Quran, as the primary source of legislation in Islamic societies, establishes principles for judicial independence and justice that can help strengthen judicial institutions and increase public trust in the governance system. This research, conducted through a descriptive-analytical method based on library data, thoroughly examines verses related to justice and judgment, showing how Quranic teachings can contribute to enhancing judicial independence and improving governmental processes. The findings of this study emphasize the necessity of institutionalizing religious principles within judicial and legal structures, asserting that alignment of the judicial system with Islamic values can enhance the legitimacy of governance and strengthen social and political foundations. Finally, this research analyzes the challenges and opportunities in realizing these objectives and provides suggestions for improving the current situation.
